Six concerts left in the Bronx Summer Concert Series
THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — This summer, there are amazing free concerts in your neighborhood every weekend. It’s the Bronx Summer Concert Series, hosted by Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson.
Estela Starr and Bobby Allende are just some of the local legends ready to perform.

Bobby Allende is performing this Saturday at Orchard Beach with his band Ocho y mas, a tribute to Frankie Ruiz. Allende is having his 60th Anniversary B-day performance coming up at the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts on Aug. 8.

Now, she’s a crowd favorite of the concert series, set to take the stage on August 2nd at the Breukelen Mx night market. From 12-6 p.m. at the Fordham Plaza.Her biggest fan is her youngest son, eight-year-old Ceph McGinnis.
Gibson is co-hosting the free series of concerts to promote local musicians and bring the community together.Partnering with the Bronx Tourism Council, the Bronx Economic Development Corporation and the Business Initiative Corporation of New York.
The series will feature a show every weekend through Aug. 31.
