Warren Haynes, the 65-year-old frontman of the rock band Gov’t Mule, is back with the 16th annual Island Exodus, a long-running beachfront music festival that’s been a fan favorite since it first launched in 2010.

Set for January 15–18, 2026, Island Exodus is moving to the Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters, an all-inclusive, adults-only, luxury resort in Trelawny, Jamaica. For the past seven years, the iconic beach music festival has taken place at the Jewel Paradise Cove Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica.

Of course, the lineup is just as exciting. Along with Gov’t Mule and Haynes himself, performers include John Scofield, the band moe. and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country. Whether you’re a longtime fan or thinking about making the trip for the first time, this year’s festival promises a one-of-a-kind escape filled with good music, good vibes and island magic.

Presale is officially open for past attendees, giving returning fans a head start before tickets go live to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. ET. According to Gov't Mule's most recent Instagram post, suites in the resort have already sold out, and rooms are going fast. So, if you’re thinking about going, now’s the time to grab your spot.

Gov't Mule was formed in 1994 by Haynes and late bassist Allen Woody of The Allman Brothers Band, and has become a staple in the Southern rock and jam band scene. Known for their bluesy, hard-hitting sound and live performances, the band has earned a loyal fan base over the years. With albums like The Deep End Vol. 1, Dose and Shout!, they've explored everything from classic rock and soul to funk and jazz. Gov't Mule's most recent album, Peace...like a River, was released in 2023. Before Island Exodus, Gov't Mule is set to go on a tour around North America from late August to early November 2025.
