If you're looking for cheaper tickets to movies this summer, AMC has you covered.

The popular movie theater chain announced on Monday that, starting July 8, AMC Stubs Rewards members will see a whopping 50% discount on tickets every Tuesday and Wednesday, which are often viewed as the slowest days for movie theaters.

"We’re giving all our AMC Stubs members more chances to save with ticket discounts on Tuesdays, and now on Wednesdays too!" AMC said. "Make a midweek movie escape and get the full big-screen experience with 50% off tickets."

That discount goes for all showtimes on those days of the week, although special events are not eligible for the discount. Examples of special events include "fan events, private screenings, movie marathons, double features, Fathom Events, Metropolitan Opera, sporting events, select showtimes of certain foreign language films, and other events that are priced above standard ticket price," according to AMC's Q&A.

There are four different tiers for the AMC Stubs Membership, but all you need is the "Insider" tier to access this great deal. In addition to the discount on tickets, members also get 50% off small combos on the same days.

For moviegoers who like to purchase their tickets through Fandango or Atom Tickets, they are still eligible to receive the discount.

When it comes to "premium format experiences" such as Dolby Cinema, IMAX, PRIME and RealD 3D, surcharges will apply.
