Abandoned Mansion Contains Some Impressive CarsSeeing a mansion that’s seemingly in the middle of nowhere, abandoned with an array of expensive cars is shocking. After all, the house alone surely was worth quite a bit when it was just left and it happens sometimes. But the cars could’ve easily been carted off by the late owner’s heirs and sold for a lot of money.

Instead, those impressive rides and the rather large residence are left to just sit and rot. A YouTube explorer named Josh who likes to go check out abandoned buildings like this, documenting the place and the cars.
Image via Exploring With Josh/YouTubeThe late owner was apparently a hoarder, collecting valuable objects after his wife died. He inherited over a billion dollars from his father and so he could afford to stack up all kinds of expensive things.
That’s why there are cars all over the mansion’s grounds, including a Porsche 911 with a now-shredded cover.
Inside a detached garage, which has more rides parked immediately outside, is an old Lotus Esprit. It’s parked next to an Alfa Romeo, and there are several others scattered around the property. There are multiple Volvos, too.
We think the guy had a thing for European cars.
Image via Exploring With Josh/YouTubeThere’s a whole genre on YouTube of people who explore abandoned buildings. They have their own code of ethics, and among them is the principle that they don’t take anything from builds and they don’t damage or destroy anything, at least on purpose.
Instead, they treat these abandoned sites as museums of a sort, keeping them as undisturbed as possible so other explorers can make the journey and also enjoy the same experience.
But they also won’t share with the general public where abandoned buildings are located. The reason why is so others don’t go and raid these places, ruining the adventure for all.
