Bad//Dreems have announced a national tour for September 2025 to commemorate a decade since the release of their acclaimed debut album, Dogs At Bay. The Adelaide-born pub rock band will perform the album in its entirety at every show on the tour, as well as selections from their other three albums – 2017’s Gutful, 2019’s Doomsday Ballet and 2023’s Hoo Ha!. The full list of tour dates, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.

“Dogs At Bay was the beginning of an exciting and often peculiar road, replete with a few pot holes and wrong turns,” said lead guitarist Alex Cameron in a press statement. “The songs seem to have stood the test of time; many are still mainstays of our set. We feel lucky that there is interest enough from people for us to revisit it.” To coincide with the tour, the band are also reissuing Dogs At Bay on vinyl for the first time in several years, in both “Bogan Brick” and “Hume Blue” variants. The vinyl can be pre-ordered by visiting the band’s official merch store on BandTShirts.com.au by clicking here.

Bad//Dreems – ‘Bogan Pride’

Dogs At Bay was originally released in August of 2015, debuting in the top 40 of the ARIA Albums Chart. Several singles were lifted from the album, including ‘Dumb Ideas’, ‘My Only Friend’, ‘Cuffed And Collared’, ‘Hiding To Nothing’ and ‘Bogan Pride’. The band were in high rotation on triple j, being invited onto the station’s flagship segment Like A Version that year. The band covered The Weeknd‘s then-current hit single ‘Can’t Feel My Face’, with backing vocals from The Preatures‘ Izzi Manfredi.

“I was never convinced that people really understood the band or our songs at the time,” said Cameron when reflecting on the band’s mid-2010s rise. “Then again, I don’t know if we really did either. After our early releases, some pseudo-cultural elites wrote us off as ‘pub rock’. So, this was a moniker we embraced, unfashionable though it was at the time. It proved an interesting vehicle to explore many of the themes that underpin the Australian identity, which is something we have always been drawn to.”
