More than six months after country singer Bailey Zimmerman, 25, received backlash for his performance at Luke Bryan's Crash My Playa Festival in Mexico, he's speaking out about the major changes he's made in his life since then.
Zimmerman shared a video on Instagram on Sunday, June 29 set to Taylor Swift's song "You Belong With Me" as he gave the camera a thumbs up with a smile.

In January, videos from Zimmerman's performance (or lack thereof) at Bryan's festival went viral. In footage shared on TikTok below, he can be seen on stage as the audience stands in the ocean and waits for him to perform.
Then, Zimmerman can be heard screaming, "cut the track!"
The "Fall In Love" singer later took to Instagram to apologize for his performance in a video.
“I decided to drink that day, which was a mistake. And I got up on stage, and I was too drunk to play," he said. "I sang awful, I played awful, nobody got the show that they wanted or paid for, and I'm disappointed in myself."
"I'm gonna do everything in my power to make sure that this never happens ever again," he said at the time. "I wanna show you guys the person I really am."
