As part of Deer Valley's massive expansion, the resort has announced that a whopping seven new chairlifts will debut this winter.
To service the additional 3,700 acres of terrain coming to Deer Valley for winter 2025/26, the resort is installing and opening a 10-passenger gondola that will link the new East Village to Park Peak, plus 80 new ski runs. Including the additions this summer, the ski resort will have added 10 new lifts to its slopes since December 2024.
Other new lifts installed since December include the Hoodoo Express, Aurora, and Keetley Express, which serve beginner terrain and connect the existing slopes of Deer Valley with the new East Village, respectively.

While many facets of the Expanded Excellence project at the resort have already been completed or are well underway, Deer Valley noted in a recent press release that construction on the reimagined Snow Park base area has been resequenced in the lineup and will not begin until the summer of 2026 at the earliest.
“With multiple large-scale projects underway, we’re strategically focusing our efforts to ensure success at every step. This winter’s terrain expansion—more than doubling our skiable acreage—is a once-in-a-generation transformation, and it deserves our full attention," said Todd Bennett, president and COO of Deer Valley Resort, in the press release.
Upon completion of Expanded Excellence, Deer Valley will have more than 5,700 acres of skiable terrain, 37 chairlifts, and 238 ski runs.
