Everything You Need to Know About Watching the 2025 Women's Euros From the U.S.
July is going to be a busy month in the sports world. Three major events kick off this week in Europe alone: Wimbledon, the Tour de France, and the 2025 Women’s Euros. Hosted in Switzerland this year, England will be looking to defend its title, but will have to fight tooth and nail for it against current World Cup champions Spain as well as last summer’s Olympic bronze medalists Germany.

Prince William, as patron of England's Football Association, could make an appearance if the Lionesses go deep into the tournament. He presented the trophy to the English women’s national team when they won in 2022, but he did not travel to Australia when they made the Women’s World Cup final in 2023. (He later apologized, but he did meet with the team before when he was still president of the FA.) By contrast, Queen Letizia and Princess Sofia did make the long-haul journey to Sydney. And the Spanish queen recently welcomed the Spanish women’s national team to the La Zarzuela Palace on June 25, when team captain Irene Paredes presented Letizia with an Adidas team jersey with her name on the back.

Europa Press Entertainment - Getty ImagesThe Prince of Wales did make a surprise visit on June 30 to the English team's training camp at St. George’s Park, where he met with head coach Sarina Wiegman and several members of the squad to see how they were faring ahead of the competition. And last week, The Sun reported that Prince William will indeed fly out for at least one match. England's first match is against France on July 5. The team will play next on July 9 against the Netherlands.

Fox Sports has expanded coverage significantly this time, with a daily dedicated studio show and a record 19 matches airing live on Fox. (11 will air on FS1, and one will be on FS1, both of which usually require larger cable packages.)
