Grammy winner Ann Nesby brings her classic hits and some new music to this year’s Chosen Few DJ’s House Music Festival

Singer, songwriter Ann Nesby has been making music for decades, from gospel to disco. Now she returns to Chicago, not far from her home town of Joliet, for a repeat performance at the annual Chosen Few House Music Festival. Fans can expect to hear favorites like “Optimistic” from her time with the iconic Sounds of Blackness, her cover of the seminal disco groove, “Lovin’ Is Really My Game,” and even some new music, from her latest album “Anniversary.”
She talked to WGN’s Dean Richards about her long and special career, including being personally picked by Luther Vandross to join him on tour.
