The actress kicked off her 45th birthday with a sultry video on Instagram — and teased more music on the way.

"I’ve been patiently waitin’ for y’all to get a dose of #FADE from the upcomin’ journey through #NashvilleCanyon , Part 2." Fans can pre-save the song through her Instagram page.
In the clip, she lounges around in a furry coat in a bathtub and sucks on a cherry while lip-syncing to her upcoming song "Fade." She also writes the song's title on the bathtub wall with bright red lipstick.

Simpson released the first part of Nashville Canyon in March, marking her return to the music industry after 15 years. "It’s about surrendering, letting my voice be my main guide, and trusting the journey ahead," she said about the album in March on Instagram.

"I was told who I was as an artist, who I was as a singer, and what words I should be singing and exactly how," she said at the time. "Note for note. Riff for riff."

"She said, ‘You know that song by Hank Williams, 'I Saw the Light?' It’s my favorite song and I want to go where the light is. I want to be there on my 11th birthday, it just feels like that’s what I’m supposed to do," Simpson told PEOPLE.

During their trip to Franklin, outside of Nashville, Maxwell asked Simpson to sing "I Saw The Light" instead of "Happy Birthday" to wake her up. "I got chills all over my body," Simpson recalled.

"That’s where I recorded my first gospel record at 15 years old and I had to come back. My daughter, her wanting to see the light, showed me the light."
