Tributes are pouring in for the late Julian McMahon, who died July 2 following a private battle with cancer.

On Friday, Charmed co-star Rose McGowan was among the first pay her respects on Instagram, choosing to remember McMahon as a “force of brilliance, wild talent and humour…. For you, your family and loving fans all over the world, I pray comfort.”

Fellow “Charmed One” Holly Marie Combs shared a fan tribute to her Instagram Story, referring to McMahon as “my favorite pain in the ass ever.” Then in a subsequent post, she wrote: “One of a kind is an understatement. Your unyielding zest for life and crazy making sense of humor will be sorely missed. The joy and laughter you were the direct cause of will always be remembered. I hope you find our lady friend and dance in those rose petals.”

Brian Krause (aka Leo Wyatt) also took to Instagram, writing: “Sad day for our Charmed family! Julian was one of the funniest, devilishly handsome and kind souls! Prayers to his family and close friends! He will surely be missed!”

Kelly Carlson eulogized McMahon in a video, referring to her TV husband as “the energy, the charisma, the humor, the looks and everything of Nip/Tuck…. I hope he had a peaceful journey.”

Ioan Gruffard, who starred opposite McMahon in 2005’s Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, wrote: “Even though we played each other’s nemeses, there was always so much lightness and laughter working together. Every encounter with him was a joy. It was an honor to be Dr. Richards to his Dr. Doom. My heart goes out to his wife and family.”

Meanwhile, FBI franchise boss Dick Wolf issued the following statement to our sister site Deadline: “What shocking news. All of us at Wolf Entertainment are deeply saddened by Julian’s passing and our condolences go out to his entire family.”
