LAMAR, Mo. — Two rising country music stars will perform in Lamar next month.

The Barton County Chamber of Commerce announced the Saturday night performers for the annual Lamar Fair.

Trevon Dawson will open with an acoustic act, followed by headliner Tate Stevens, who also performed last year. The Chamber is proud to bring two Missouri natives home for the fair’s final hurrah.

“What’s really cool and unique about both of these artists is that they may be Missouri Boys, but they’ve made it big on the national stage. Tate Stevens won…” said Kim O’Sullivan, Barton County Chamber of Commerce.

“X Factor,” said Kristy Roberton, Barton County Chamber of Commerce.

“…X Factor, and that was in the last several years. And then this year in 2025, Trevon Dawson was one of the finalists, going into the final rounds of The Voice,” said O’Sullivan.

Thanks to sponsorships from local businesses, this year’s concert will be free to the public.

Gates at Wyatt Earp Park open Saturday, August 23 at 6:00 p.m., and the music starts at 8:00 p.m.
