Iconic singer Connie Francis has been hospitalized in Florida. The singer, who rose to fame in the 1950s, was experiencing "extreme pain" and was admitted to undergo a series of tests.
"I am back in hospital where I have been undergoing tests and checks to determine the cause(s) of the extreme pain I have been experiencing," Francis, 87, wrote on Facebook on July 2. "I had hoped to take part in Brucie's show for Independence Day, having had to cancel a previous slot a few weeks ago when receiving treatment on my hip. Sadly, I had to let him know that I again had to withdraw," she continued, referring to Cousin Brucie's radio show."My thanks for your many get well soon messages. I will endeavor to keep you updated," she added.

"I am pleased to advise that following a series of tests and examinations in Intensive Care, I have now been transferred to a private room," she wrote, adding, "Thank you all for your kind thoughts, words and prayers. They mean so much!"
Francis, whose 1962 hit "Pretty Little Baby" has become a TikTok trend in 2025, received a great deal of well wishes from fans on social media.
