Netflix will soon offer subscribers a front-row seat to rocket launches, astronaut spacewalks, and more, thanks to a new deal that brings NASA live feeds to the platform for the first time.

Starting this summer, NASA+ live programming will be available to Netflix subscribers. The addition will be included in all memberships.

A specific date for when the new content will be available to subscribers has not been announced.

With this partnership, NASA hopes its work in “science and exploration will become even more accessible, allowing the agency to increase engagement with and inspire a global audience in a modern media landscape, where Netflix reaches a global audience of more than 700 million people,” a news release said.

The new partnership with Netflix won’t be exclusive; NASA+ will still be available for free through NASA’s website and app.

The agency launched NASA+ in 2023.
