‘Nip/Tuck’ and ‘Fantastic Four’ star Julian McMahon dies at 56: report

(WJW) – Australian actor Julian McMahon, best known for starring in “Nip/Tuck,” “Charmed” and the “Fantastic Four” franchise from the 2000s, has died, according to multiple reports.
According to Deadline, the actor’s wife, Kelly McMahon, said in a statement that the 56-year-old “died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer.”
“Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible,” the statement said. “We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy.”

On the silver screen, McMahon played the villain Victor Von Doom in the 2005 film “Fantastic Four” and the 2007 sequel, “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.”
He also appeared in a slew of other roles, according to IMDB, including “FBI: Most Wanted” and “The Runaways.”
