See the Moment Bold and the Beautiful’s Lisa Yamada and Christian Weissmann Learned About Their Daytime Emmy Noms

Lisa Yamada shared the moment she learned she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award. She immediately alerted her Bold and the Beautiful co-star Christian Weissmann, who was also up for an award in the same category.
Young Talent
Yamada and Weissmann were nominated for Outstanding Emerging Talent. They play the villains Luna and Remy on B&B, both of whom have been keeping us on our toes. The actors are in good company. They are joined by fellow nominees AnnaLynne McCord (Days of our Lives), Ashley Puzemis (Days of our Lives), and Olivia d’Abot (The Bay). Yamada was the first to get the news about their nominations. She immediately texted Weissmann.

In a series of texts, she wrote, “Dude. We both got nominated. OH MY GOD. ” Weissmann was in disbelief. He had just gotten off his flight and couldn’t believe what he was reading. “I JUST LANDED. Oh my God. Omg, wtf. This is crazy,” he responded.

From Villains to BFFs
Their characters aren’t the only ones who get along so well. Weissmann and Yamada are best friends in real life. They immediately FaceTimed each other to celebrate the moment. The B&B co-stars looked shocked. This moment is well-deserved, as we love to hate their on-screen alter egos.

Weismann posted a screenshot from their FaceTime on his Instagram Stories, which Yamada reposted. He wrote, “only could do it side by side w my @lisayamada.” He also added the white heart emoji. Weissmann is still in disbelief. He took to X, formerly Twitter, to post, “is this real life??? thank you @TheEmmys & @BandB_CBS… i am over the moon xxx.”
We’re hoping Luna’s not dead after all. We would love to see Remy and Luna cause more hijinks in Los Angeles. What are your thoughts on their nominations? Let us know in the comments section.
