The Challenge: Vets and New Threats is putting even the most seasoned contestants to the ultimate test.

When the show's “battle-hardened Veterans” go head-to-head with a group of fresh faces who aim to “upend the old order," the two teams fight to take home the prize.
“The Vets, driven by legacy and pride, will need to adapt fast,” the official logline reads. “Their established hierarchy is crumbling, and leaning on past alliances, and experience is no longer reliable — it’s about navigating the ever-shifting landscape of alliances, betrayals, and unknown threats. To win, Veterans and New Threats will be forced to work together, unless they’re forced to turn on each other. Nothing is guaranteed.”

Season 41 welcomes 16 returning participants and 16 newcomers from various reality shows.
“They come from Survivor, they come from Big Brother, they know what they're doing,” says Rogan O’Connor, who has one win under his belt and three prior challenges.

It seems the OGs feel the pressure, with one warning, “Once we train them, it's going to be hard to contain them.”
Some first-timers aren’t exactly lacking in experience, either. Dee Valladares, a winner of Survivor season 45, reveals her tactic for making it to the end is “manipulating,” as another declares he wants “to absolutely slaughter all the Vets," and Big Brother’s America Lopez explains her strategy is to use the Vets’ skills “against them.”

CT TamburelloAs tensions continue to rise, people begin to turn against each other.
One clip sees five-time winner CT Tamburello explode after fellow alum Turbo tells him that being in the game is some people’s “dream.”

The missions are at another level of difficulty this year. At one point, the famously tough Derrick Kosinski even finds himself in danger as he struggles alone in a giant water tank.
“Help!” he screams to his panicked opponents outside.
