‘The Pitt’s Tracy Ifeachor Exiting, Won’t Return For Season 2 Of HBO Max Medical Drama
There will be no Dr. Collins in Season 2 of The Pitt. Tracy Ifeachor, who portrayed Dr. Collins in Season 1, won’t be returning for the second season of the hit HBO Max medical drama, Deadline has confirmed.
Dr. Collins isa fourth-year resident at a teaching hospital in season one and will not be at the shift in season two, we’ve learned.The news was first reported by Deadline’s sister pub TVLine.

Collins suffered a miscarriage halfway through the first season. It’s implied early on that she and Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch’s (Noah Wyle) were once in a relationship.
Created byR. Scott Gemmill, the series follows Robby’s 15-hour shift as the chief attendant in the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital’s emergency room.Each episode is one hour in Robby’s frenetic day.
Per the logline,The Pittis a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.

The Pittis produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, where JWP is under an overall deal. Gemmill created the drama and executive produces the series alongside Wells, Wyle, Michael Hissrich, JWP’s Erin Jontow and Simran Baidwan.
