The Valley’s Jesse Lally Shuts Down Talk Janet Caperna ‘Fled’ to Switzerland

It’s no secret that The Valley has become toxic. Season 2 has brought nothing but chaos on and off camera, and it isn’t even done yet. In the premiere season, all of the attention was on the marital fallout between Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright. But this time around everyone is catching heat, including Janet Caperna.
At first fans simply wrote her off as a fangirl, but now she’s been given the villain label. After taking away from Kristen Doute’s surprise engagement, viewers have been coming at her full speed with their criticism. Her response? Well, she alongside her husband Jason Caperna and their son have unexpectedly traveled to Switzerland. Of course, people are convinced that they fled as a result of all of the hate coming her way. But, co-star Jesse Lally is here to put that rumor to rest, or at least attempt to.
The Valley’s Janet and Jason Caperna are on a planned vacation
Jesse was a recent guest on SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show. It was during the segment that he addressed Janet’s recent trip and gave some context.

They called me and they were talking about summer vacations, talking about going to Switzerland, maybe Lake Como. I was giving them some recommendations on where to go put ’em in touch with my friend. That was a planned vacation,” he explained in the July 8 episode.
The reality TV star also came to her defense on the whole fangirl thing. In fact, Jesse made it clear that he was also a big Vanderpump Rules supporter before The Valley.
“You know, I was a fan of Vanderpump. I mean, I went to a couple different things when I reconnected with Jax. I filmed some Vanderpump stuff, some of the cast, you know, events and stuff like that Michelle and I went to.”
It’s unclear what Janet and Jason’s plan is. After all, without dual citizenship they would have to return to the US within 90 days. Regardless of this being an apparently planned family vacay, this also makes the idea of Janet’s further involvement with the show being uncertain easier to believe.
