"We usually focus on what side of us hasn't been shown yet and what fans want to see," Jihyo tells PEOPLE in Korean, adding that the accompanying choreography "shows our color as artists."
The same goes for their fashion sense, which is always an anticipated moment of a group's big return. The concept art for TWICE's new era shows them in stylish suiting, but also bubbly Y2K outfits. Their main goal: to "show a new look. What I can say confidently is that we will all look very pretty," says Tzuyu.

TwiceEverything is in tune with the 14 "upbeat and summery" tracks on This Is For, which features a title track with an empowering message — Jihyo, Nayeon and Dahyun agree that the main single is a real confidence-booster.

However, she explains, "We call out ladies, but it's not really confined to a female person. We wanted to include everyone when we call out ladies. It's a message to people who really need cheering."

TWICENayeon adds that the song "can make someone feel very positive again when they feel that their confidence is down" or when they're going through a "hard time." Dahyun says it's a "cheer-up" reminder for both the group and herself.
As they played around with different sounds and styles in the recording booth, Jihyo reveals that she surprisingly "discovered" a new love for rapping. "The hook part of the title song is all rap, and it was so much fun recording that part." Meanwhile, Chaeyoung experimented with areas of her vocal range, sharing that "discovering new sides of my voice while recording" was the most fun but also the "hardest" part of the proecess.

Come July 19, the TWICE will take their discography on the road on part one of their This Is For world tour in Incheon, South Korea.
Momo tells PEOPLE she's excited to introduce a new 360-degree stage to their shows, explaining that the performances "will be different from [each] of the audience [member's] point of view." Chaeyoung adds, "I'm excited to visit countries and cities we haven’t been to before and meet our fans there."
In the middle of touring Asia and Australia, TWICE will also pit stop in Chicago to headline Lollapalooza in August, which marks their debut at the music festival.

TwiceDespite the many "firsts" happening in their career, Jihyo and Dahyun reveal the one pre-show tradition that remains constant in the members' lives. "We gather, we put our hands together and we say, 'TWICE, TWICE, let's get it together, let's go.' We always do this ritual regardless of the size of the stage or performance."

When they're not dominating the stage, Sana hopes to bond with her members turned friends wherever they travel to. "When we go on the tour this time, I want to have a lot of opportunities to dine with the members and chat over food."

TwiceCome fall, TWICE will also commemorate their 10-year anniversary. The group was formed in October 2015 through reality competition program, Sixteen, which was created by South Korean television channel, Mnet, and JYP Entertainment.

Although, some of the members joke about how long they've been in the business. "I really want to boast about having marked a 10th year, but we don't really have anybody to boast to, so can the fans please spread the words that's TWICE is marking their anniversary? That would be really great," Jeongyeon says.
Still, the members have collected many memories over the decade that they reminisce on. For Dahyun, it was performing on their Ready to Be Tour at Japan's Nissan Stadium. Speaking about the same tour, Chaeyoung recalls forging on with their encore in the pouring rain for fans in Atlanta. They're still dreaming big when it comes to career highs though, some of which have been collaborating with Megan Thee Stallion and opening for Coldplay in Seoul. Rihanna, for example, is at the top of Jeongyeon's bucket list — and so is wanting Coldplay to up for TWICE, she jokes.

"Now, when we think back, it was funny, but at that time we weren't able to enjoy or to see it as funny, it just felt so difficult and hard."
"I truly believe that only experiences make the lesson truly your own. You have to go through it in order to learn and make the lesson your own. So, my only advice is to just hang in there. I know it's hard, but hang in there, good times will come," says Jihyo.
