The 2024-25 NBA season might have been the best year of Donovan Mitchell's career as he helped the Cleveland Cavaliers finish with the top record in the Eastern Conference. While the season may not have ended the way he wanted, he's still starting his summer off in a big way.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Mitchell announced his engagement to his girlfriend, singer-songwriter and actress Coco Jones. He shared a caption-free photo of himself kissing Jones while the diamond ring that he gave her was clearly visible on her left hand.

This past year he finished fifth in the NBA MVP voting and earned All-NBA First Team honors for the first time in his career. He certainly earned the accolades with the year he had.
In 71 starts, Mitchell averaged 24 points, 5.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds. The team secure the No. 1 seed in the East thanks to his efforts and swept the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs, but lost in five to the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Jones is arguably an even bigger star in her own profession. She's been singing professionally since before she turned 10 and signed her first recording contract at age 14. Since then, she's become a world-renown musician with 26 singles, a studio album and six EPs. She's also become an accomplished actress.
