Any red-blooded American would be proud to own this highly patriotic fourth gen Pontiac Trans Am. At least we think they would be, but this “Patriot Edition” is apparently a 1 of 1, or so say the ad. That’s right, this bad boy is up for sale, so it could be yours.

This Pontiac Trans Am drag racer would make Smokey proud.

As you might have guessed, the big feature for the Patriot Edition is the Screaming Eagle done in the Stars and Stripes. It makes a bold and patriotic statement we absolutely love. What’s more, the badges on the muscle car also features the Stars and Stripes pattern, helping it to stand out from other fourth gens.

Even without those aesthetic upgrades, this is a pretty nice Pontiac. It has the WS6 Package with the ram air hood and upgraded suspension. You’ll note someone has added a nice strut brace to stiffen things up further.

The owner says the Trans Am is running a modified version of the original exhaust system, so won’t pass a smog test. You can use your imagination about what that might mean, or reach out and ask the seller.

On the negative side of things, this Pontiac comes with an automatic transmission. It’s still going to be a fun ride, but keep in mind you can convert it to manual, if you so desire.

At least this is advertised as having a clean title, which is a big plus. It does look immaculate with a dash that isn’t cracked (that’s a chronic problem with these things, so that’s impressive). In other words, we think someone has really cared for this Trans Am.
