Megan Thee Stallion and Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson have made it official — and public.

On Wednesday night, the rapper and the NBA star stepped out hand-in-hand at the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City, marking their first public appearance as a couple.

"I have never dated somebody so kind,” Megan told Page Six on the black carpet. “This is my first relationship where I’ve ever been with somebody who’s genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy.”

They walked the carpet close, shared a quick kiss in front of cameras, and posed together in coordinated black outfits. Megan dazzled in a jeweled black halter gown, while Thompson matched her elegance in a sleek tux.

The gala, hosted at Gotham Hall, raised funds for programs in education, housing and wellness causes close to Megan’s heart. It honored her late parents, Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete III, as the event marked a proud moment for the artist.

But the night also shed light on another important part of her life: her happiness. “I just never dated somebody like him before and I’m just grateful that he’s here by my side and he feels the same way about me,” she added.

The pair has been sparking romance rumors for weeks. It all began when fans spotted Thompson relaxing in the background of one of Megan’s bikini posts from a tropical getaway.

Thompson later posted his own set of vacation photos from the Bahamas, including an intimate shot of the couple holding hands on the beach.

Until now, their relationship existed mostly in social media hints — a carefully cropped image here, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance there.

The couple also had a cozy night out at NYC hotspot Carbone earlier this week, adding to a string of sightings that have kept fans buzzing. Megan wore a curve-hugging, semi-sheer dress, while Thompson kept things cool in a white polo and blue track pants. They were spotted laughing, holding hands and later slipping into a car together.

This relationship is Megan’s first public romance since her split from Torrey Craig earlier this year. It’s also one of the rare times she’s openly spoken about her love life.
