Bandai Namco Entertainment has shared some new Digimon Story: Time Stranger gameplay footage, showcasing more of the RPG's detailed world, in addition to teasing several previously unconfirmed digital monsters. This early look at the upcoming game arrives less than three months ahead of Digimon Story: Time Stranger's multi-platform release.

Time Stranger is an upcoming Digimon RPG that was originally announced all the way back in December 2017. As such, it's poised to claim the record for the longest development period among all completed Digimon games once it finally hits the market in October 2025.

Ahead of its fall launch, Bandai Namco shared some new gameplay footage from the upcoming title on July 18. The short clip offers another look at Digimon Story: Time Stranger's Digital World: Illiad, the realm parallel to the human world, where digital monsters reside. The footage specifically highlights the Factorial Area, an industrial-themed location resembling an active volcano crater, with a wide array of facilities built into its walls.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger Seemingly Teasing Loader Leomon, Caprimon, and More

Fans analyzing the newly released clip have identified several digital monsters not yet officially confirmed for Digimon Story: Time Stranger. Notably, Loader Leomon and Caprimon both appear in the clip, seen around the five-second mark. To the immediate left of the two Caprimon in this segment, a small creature with round red hands or gloves—possibly Mamemon—can also be seen. Overall, the Factorial Area gives the impression of a detailed, lived-in world where Digimon have a place and purpose, as is the case with all the best RPG entries in the long-running franchise.
