New faces continue to make their way to the title through DLC packs, with the newest addition surprising fans, as Aleister Black was added to WWE 2K25 to celebrate the game's Nintendo Switch 2 launch. While one of the biggest names in hip-hop was soon slated to join the game's cast as a surprise DLC character, it seems that this is no longer the case, leaving many fans frustrated with the circumstances behind the celebrity's removal.

Posts 1According to a new report from Insider Gaming, rapper Travis Scott will no longer be appearing in WWE 2K25 due to a "falling out" between the hip-hop artist and the WWE. The details of this remain unknown, which will likely only frustrate those players eagerly awaiting the talent's addition to the roster. While Scott had not been confirmed as the game's upcoming celebrity guest until very recently, in early July, WWE 2K25 announced that the New Wave Pack's celebrity guest would be replaced, with El Grande Americano chosen as the new DLC character instead. While the rapper won't be coming to the ring, rumors indicate that Travis Scott will appear in GTA 6, with the musician seemingly not finished with the gaming world as a whole just yet.

Additionally, the physical version of the game on the Switch 2 has no physical cartridge, instead being nothing more than a code in the box.
Tons of new wrestlers are headed to WWE 2K25 throughout the rest of 2025 through DLC packs. The Attitude Era Superstars Pack, coming to the game in September, will add D'Lo Brown, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, Victoria, and Mark Henry. Additionally, November will see Jesse Ventura, "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff, Tito Santana, Junkyard Dog, and Sid Justice joining the fray as part of Saturday Night's Main Event Pack.
