Diablo Immortal just announced a new crossover with Hearthstone, the collectible digital card game set in the Warcraft universe. Though little is known about how these Blizzard games will mix together, fans can expect Diablo Immortal to share more about the collaboration soon.
Despite pushback when it was first announced, Diablo Immortal has secured itself as a successful Diablo title, boasting consistent updates and a healthy playerbase since its 2022 release. It joined Hearthstone in the halls of ongoing Blizzard mobile titles, where it has continued to receive regular updates, even after the release of Diablo 4.

Why Diablo Immortal's Druid Is Its Most Versatile Class Yet
Game Rant speaks with Diablo Immortal developers about the upcoming Druid class and how it can adopt a wide range of playstyles.
PostsNow, these two Blizzard mobile games are colliding in the near future. Diablo Immortal recently shared a post on Twitter, revealing an upcoming crossover between it and Hearthstone. However, little information was shared about what it would entail beyond new art of Tyrande Whisperwind in a Diablo-style tavern playing Hearthstone, and cryptic confirmation that more information would be “coming soon.”
Diablo Immortal x Hearthstone Crossover Coming Soon
It is hard to say exactly what this Diablo Immortal x Hearthstone collaboration will look like. It could involve prominent characters from Hearthstone appearing in the game – but considering the CCG is set in the Warcraft universe, that would probably have just been another Diablo Immortal x WoW collaboration instead. Since it is specifically a Hearthstone collaboration, some aspects or references to the card game itself will probably appear in Diablo Immortal.
CloseIt remains to be seen if this crossover will also involve Diablo Immortal coming to Hearthstone. The Diablo franchise has appeared in the digital card game in the past, such as Diablo himself arriving in Battlegrounds and the sunset Mercenaries game modes, but never in a more robust collaboration like the Hearthstone x StarCraft Mini-Set. At press time, Hearthstone has not made any posts or blogs alluding to the crossover, but that could change in the future.
Either way, fans probably won’t have to wait too long to find out. More details on the specifications of this crossover, and if Hearthstone is holding a reciprocating event, will likely arrive within the next couple of weeks, if not earlier. Until then, Diablo Immortal players can finally enjoy the iconic Druid class, which recently made its leap from Diablo 2 and Diablo 4 to the mobile title, as well as the Rift Race event, where gamers can earn rewards for securing their place on global leaderboards by powering through Rifts in record time from now through July 28.
