What a couple of weeks it’s been! First we had the back-to-back releases of two games we’d been waiting for for a decade, The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy XV. Then, if you thought the year was done with surprises, we got Super Mario Run, Nintendo’s first Mario game on mobile devices.

Time’s Matt Peckham joins me for this year-end spectacular, discussing these three games, plus a bit about what we think will happen with Nintendo’s Switch when it’s unveiled in early January.
