Everything's coming up Psychonauts. First, the massive crowdfunding campaign for the decade-in-the-making sequel has been a big success, surpassing its $3.3 million goal. Now, the original classic is coming to the PlayStation 4.
The psychic summer camp adventure will hit the PS4 this spring, developer Double Fine announced today via the Playstation Blog. Upon its release in 2005, Psychonauts developed a huge cult following and garnered critical acclaim, for good reason.
No word yet on when precisely in the spring the game will drop. In the meantime, wait until the trees begin to return to life, then look to the West, and lo, Psychonauts will appear.
